Challenge
StraightUp Solar needed a fresh way to engage prospective customers and streamline lead qualification. The goal: create a user-friendly tool that both educated homeowners and supported internal sales workflows.
Solution
Working closely with a cross-functional team and external partners, I project managed the development of an interactive Residential Solar Quiz. I was instrumental in guiding the creative strategy, user experience, interface design, and ensuring the tool worked smoothly for both customers and internal teams. The Quiz included key qualifying questions that previously had to be collected manually, making it a win-win for both user experience and operations. Additionally, I led the campaign strategy and managed rollout when we launched the Quiz.
Results
In its first year, the Quiz generated 9% of all digital conversions—opening a new, high-quality lead stream.
The leads were more qualified and easier to process, improving lead-to-appointment conversion rates.
The Quiz remains an active marketing tool, proving its long-term value.
Impact
This project helped transform the lead intake process and inspired new marketing automation experiments across departments—including the launch of a Small Business Quiz. It reflects my ability to drive creative, data-informed solutions through cross-functional collaboration—always with the end user in mind.
